iPhone production like many other products has been suffering from the global chip shortage due to supply chain disruption in silicon availability globally. Estimated Shipping timing for iPhone 13 was spanning weeks and has cost the company $6 billion.

However, the demand and supply gap for iPhone 13 has narrowed in the previous months, as apple suppliers managed to ease the shortage of certain components. And as the holiday season begins, Digitimes reports that a production boom will be able to address the previous issues of availability and demand.

Additionally, Apple has upgraded all its products from Airpods to the Mac, which will prove appealing to the customers, specifically Airpods which are a popular holiday gift. Apple also released its third generation of Airpods with significant new features such as adaptive EQ, Spatial Audio with head tracking, and improved durability.

With the coming holiday season, the company has extended its return policy for products bought between November 1 and December 25 to 8 January 2022. This new policy applies to iPhone‌, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, AirPods, HomePod mini, and more.
