Lava AGNI 5G has debuted in India. It has arrived as the first-ever 5G-ready phone from an Indian brand. Priced under Rs 20,000 (~$270), the AGNI 5G is packed with enticing specs. Furthermore, it offers an impressive design that allows it to rival other 5G phones from Chinese brands in a similar price range.
Lava AGNI 5G specifications and features
The Lava AGNI 5G features a massive 6.78-inch LCD panel with a punch-hole design. It offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is flanked with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The power button available on its right edge is integrated with a fingerprint scanner.
For selfies, the AGNI 5G is fitted with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera unit has a 64-megapixel main lens, a 5-megapixel ultrawide shooter with a 115-degree FOV, a 2-megapixel portrait lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a dual-LED flash. The phone runs on a near-stock version of Android 11.
The AGNI 5G is fueled by the latest Dimensity 810 5G chipset. It offers users with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery, which carries support for 30W rapid charging. The usual connectivity features like dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack are also available on the AGNI 5G.
Lava AGNI 5G price in India
The Lava AGNI 5G is priced at Rs 19,999 (~$270). It will be available for purchase through Lava India’s online store, leading e-retailers, and retail stores from Nov. 11. Customers who pre-book the AGNI 5G with a payment of Rs 500 (~$7) will be entitled to get it at lowered price of Rs 17,999 (~$243). The handset comes in Fiery Blue color only.
