Motorola, the Lenovo-owned smartphone brand is gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphone and the company has teased the product which is named Moto Edge X. Ahead of the launch, leaks and reports related to the device have started surfacing online.

In the latest development, the Moto Edge X has reportedly passed through the 3C certification process, carrying model number XT2201-2. It reveals that the phone will come with support for 68.2W fast charging technology.

Motorola Moto Edge X 3C Certification Leak

It’s noteworthy that the certification hasn’t revealed the name of the device but given the charging speed of the device, it’s definitely a premium category phone and so far, it seems that the Moto Edge X is the only one that fits the description.

The battery capacity hasn’t been revealed through the 3C certificate but the reports indicate that it could pack either a 4,500mAh or 5,000mAh battery. Further, the device is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chipset, which is set to make its debut by the end of this month.

Do note that Motorola has not launched a device powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset this year, so that’s also a possibility. In the camera department, it could come with a triple-camera setup, led by a 108-megapixel primary sensor.

Being a premium smartphone, it could come with a 120Hz or 144Hz AMOLED display. As for the memory, there’s a possibility of getting up to 12GB of RAM. However, these are just speculation at this point and to know for sure, we will have to wait for the confirmation or teasers from the company.
