Chinese electronics manufacturer Teclast has launched a new tablet – the Teclast T40 Pro. The launch is coming just a month after launching the Teclast T50 tablet. The tablet is an upgrade of the T40 and T40 Plus tablets that were released earlier this year.
The T40 Pro packs a 10.4-inch IPS display with a 2K resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels and ultra-thin bezels on all sides. The device comes with a light sensor and proximity sensor among others. The slate is powered by a UNISOC T618 processor which is the same chipset onboard the T50. The processor is paired with 8GB RAM while there is 128GB of internal memory on board.
The tablet adopts a metallic design at the rear with a matte finish giving it a sleek look. There is a single camera at the back aligned at the top left corner. The slate crams a mammoth 7000mAh battery at the rear with support for 18W fast charging. The T40 Pro also comes with a 6-axis gyroscope sensor as well as dual-SIM support and 4G connectivity. The slate will get its interface from the latest Android 11 OS with some level of customization.
In terms of the price, the Teclast T40 Pro 8GB+128GB is priced at 1,299 yuan (~$203). It is presently listed on Jingdong (JD.com) and will go on sale from November 10.
