OPPO is soon going to launch another budget offering dubbed OPPO A55s in various markets. Not much is known about the phone at the moment but we now have a look at what to expect from its design.

91mobiles has exclusively released renders of the OPPO A55s, courtesy of industry sources. The phone can be seen in black and green colors and most of its design has been exposed. The rear of the phone has a rectangular camera module that seemingly houses a triple camera array, much like the OPPO A54s. Other than this, the back is rather plain and minimal with no fingerprint sensor. This means that fingerprint authentication will be performed by the power button.

The front of the phone is largely occupied by a full-screen display that will most likely be an IPS LCD one. But unlike its predecessor which used a waterdrop notch, it comes with a punch-hole selfie snapper aligned to the left. The display is surrounded by reasonably slim bezels, although the bottom chin is slightly thick – nothing too bad for a phone of its price range. The top bezel holds the call speaker.

The OPPO A55s had previously appeared on Geekbench with the model number CPH2309. It managed to score 510 and 1592 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The listing revealed that the device is powered by a Qualcomm chip that includes six CPU cores clocking at 1.8GHz and two CPU cores working at 2.04GHz. These clues indicate that the Snapdragon 480 5G is present under the hood of the device. The chipset is coupled with 4GB of RAM and Android 11 OS.
