In early 2022, Infinix launched the Hot 10 Play in select markets at an affordable price. Now, the company has quietly unveiled its successor dubbed Infinix Hot 11 Play in the African market. Interestingly, it brings a refreshed design but has the same chipset that powered the predecessor. Let’s have a look at its full details.

The Infinix Hot 11 Play is already listed on the official website of Infinix but it is not available to purchase online. In fact, the company has not revealed the pricing on the website. In order to purchase it, buyers have to find a nearby store in their area and visit the Infinix authorised stores.

It has a slightly new design, which Infinix calls the 3D Motion-Rhythm design. It also brings new colour variants. The phone comes in Green, Blue, Black, but replaces the purple of the predecessor with a new Gold colour variant.

The Infinix Hot 11 Play comes in a large 6.82-inch water-drop notch display with an HD+ resolution. It is a TFT IPS screen with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The phone has an 8MP fixed focus camera lens at the front and a dual-camera system at the rear. The rear setup has a 12MP main auto-focus lens with an AI lens. It is assisted by a quad-LED flash.

Under the hood, it employs the same MediaTek Helio G35 chipset seen in its predecessor. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Infinix has also offered a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 512GB. It packs a massive 6,000mAh battery which is claimed to offer a whopping 55 days of standby and 53 hours of talk time.

The dual-SIM smartphone supports 4G connectivity and has all the necessary sensors like gyroscope, light sensor, proximity sensor, and compass, and g-sensor. As for security, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro-USB port for charging. It boots on Android 11 out of the box with Infinix’ custom skin on top of it.
