In a couple of days, on 17th November, Huawei has scheduled a launch event in its home country China where the company will be launching products like Huawei Watch GT Runner and Huawei MateBook E 2-in-1.

Now, the company has confirmed that it will also launch its Huawei FreeBuds Lipstick true wireless earbuds in the Chinese market. These are the same earphones that were announced for the global markets last month.

While the company has not confirmed this, the Huawei Freebuds Lipstick is a redesigned version of the Freebuds 4 with an attempt to make the in-ear earphones into a fashion accessory. The charging case, made of stainless steel, looks like lipstick.

The Huawei FreeBuds Lipstick were designed by multinational designers from luxury fashion, automotive and digital industries, in Huawei’s Paris Aesthetics Research Centre. The earphones also inherit Huawei‘s open-fit design based on the ergonomic shape of 10,000+ human ears.

Similar to the FreeBuds 4, they feature 14.3mm dynamic drivers with a frequency range spanning up to 40kHz. There’s adaptive active noise cancellation and EQ tuning that projects a tone into the ears, applying one of 16 modes for the best audio quality based on the user’s surroundings.

As for the battery life, the earbuds are rated to offer about four hours of usage while the charging case provides an additional 22 hours of playback time. They are priced at £200 or $275, based on the region. To know about its pricing in the Chinese market, we will have to wait a couple of days more for the launch event.
