Xiaomi and its sub-brand Redmi are all set to introduce their next generation of premium smartphones. These devices are expected to go official as Xiaomi 12 series and Redmi K50 series. We have been hearing about these phones for the past few days. Now, we get to learn about the model numbers and the chipsets of some of these handsets.

A tipster on Weibo who goes by the name of 熊猫很禿然 (Panda is Bald) shared the alleged model numbers and processors powering the upcoming high-end smartphones from Xiaomi and Redmi yesterday. He also revealed details about four unknown devices.

Below-listed is the information detailed by the leaker.

Xiaomi 12 Series

  • Xiaomi 12 Ultra – L1
  • Xiaomi 12 Pro – L1A
  • Xiaomi 12 – L2

Redmi K50 Series

  • L10
  • L10A
  • L11
  • L11R

Unknown Xiaomi Devices

  • L9 – Xiaomi (Snapdragon 778+)
  • L9B – Xiaomi (Snapdragon 778+)
  • L3 – Xiaomi 6.3” (Snapdragon 870)
  • L3A – Xiaomi (Snapdragon 870)

The phones with model numbers L9 and L9B were recently tipped to be part of the Xiaomi 12 Lite series. But the tipster does mention it.  Going by the 6.3-inch screen size of L3, it could be a long-rumored clamshell foldable smartphone, while L3A could be a variant of the same handset.

Lastly, according to Xiaomiui, L10, which is a Redmi K50 series phone, is codenamed Matisse. It is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 2000 SoC underneath.
