When OnLeaks shared the CAD renders of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra last month, it took the internet by surprise as the flagship tablet was seen sporting a display notch. Reliable tipster Ice Universe has claimed that the display notch exists for a certain reason on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

According to the tipster, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra’s screen notch is equipped with two cameras. One of them is an ultrawide lens that can shoot 4K videos at 60fps. The tipster did not share the information on the other camera of the device.

To recollect, the predecessor Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ featured a single 8-megapixel camera, which can capture 1080 videos at 30fps. Leaked information that appeared back in March claimed that the dual front camera setup of the Tab S8 Ultra includes an 8-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens.
