Samsung has been rapidly expanding the list of devices eligible to receive the latest One UI 4 update based on the Android 12 operating system. After making the beta update available for newer flagship devices, it has also started rolling out a stable version.

Now, the Android 12-based One UI 4 beta is available for Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note20 users in the United States. However, do note that it is currently available for users with unlocked devices and not carrier-locked phones.

Samsung One UI 4 Featured

All the eligible users can log into the Samsung Members application and then tap on the One UI 4 beta enrollment button from the Notices page. After enrolling, the update should be available to download within a few minutes.

The One UI 4.0 from Samsung brings some interesting and exciting features to the functionality of the Android 12 operating system. The modifications and additions look to be over 60, ranging from the color themes to functions and refinements. The company has also added some privacy and security features, which gives its users greater control over application privileges, among others.

As for the stable version rollout, Samsung will be releasing the One UI 4 for the Galaxy S20 Plus, Galaxy S20 Ultra, and Galaxy S20 FE in January 2022. Other devices set to receive the update in the same month include Galaxy Note10 series, Galaxy Note20 series, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Fold, and the Galaxy Z Fold2. In February next year, the update will be released for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy A52 5G, and the Galaxy Tab S7/Tab S7+.
