Vivo has silently launched the Vivo Y74s 5G smartphone in China. The specifications of this phone are identical to the Vivo Y76s 5G, which went official earlier this month in China. Here is all that is known on the specifications, features, and pricing.

The Vivo Y74s 5G has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 90.61 percent screen space. For security, it is fitted with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The device comes preinstalled with OriginOS 1.0 UI based Android 11.
The Y74s has an 8-megapixel camera for capturing selfies. It offers features like dual-view mode, portrait mode, night scene mode. Its back panel has a dual-camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. It offers features like night scene mode, portrait mode, 1080p video shooting, and slow-motion video recording.
The Dimensity 810 chipset powers the Vivo Y74s 5G. It comes in a single model that offers 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 4 GB of virtual RAM, and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It has a 4,100mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. Usual connectivity features such as dual SIM, 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack are also available on the device. The Vivo Y74s 5G is priced at 2,299 Yuan (~$360) and it comes in Galaxy Blue and Starry Night Black colours. The company is yet to make it available for purchase in the Chinese market.
