Back in October, Reliance Jio had launched the JioPhone Next smartphone in India. Now, the company is apparently working on two more consumer electronic products, namely a new tablet and a Smart TV.

According to a 91Mobiles report, tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed that the Indian telecom giant is working on a new Jio tablet and Jio TV that will launch next year. Apart from these two products, the company was also recently rumored to be working on a laptop as well. While the leakster shared that a tablet and TV is in the works, he did not reveal any finer details regarding these products. So unfortunately, we have no idea about the specifications that the tablet and TV will ship with.

Although, we can expect the tablet to run on PragatiOS out of the box. For those unaware, is is the company’s proprietary OS that was built in partnership with Google for the JioPhone Next. The tablet should offer a larger display and could likely be powered by an entry level Qualcomm chipset owing to the Indian brand’s partnership with the American chipmaker. Furthermore, the tablet in question would also likely be priced aggressively similar to its other products.

Talking about the Jio TV, the company might be working on a new smart TV that could likely arrive with support for OTT apps. Notably, the company may also bundle the set up box that it offers with Jio Fiber broadband with the TV. This product could even launch in multiple size options as well. The move from the company would also marks its attempts at diversifying its product ecosystem.
