A number of smartphone brands like Realme, Oppo, Vivo, and others are gearing up to launch smartphones with more than 100W fast charging support. Now, the latest report hints at Xiaomi planning on an imminent launch for a device with 120W fast charging, which could be one of two upcoming models.
According to a 91Mobiles report, the Chinese tech giant could launch either the Xiaomi 11T Pro or the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ that was recently announced in China. Although, the high end Note 11 model is set to debut in India as the rebranded Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. The news arrives from industry sources close to the matter who also revealed that the announcement of this device would likely be before January.
In other words, the smartphone with 120W fast charging support will launch sometime in December, although, an exact date of announcement is still unknown. Recently, the Xiaomi 11T Pro’s battery was spotted on the BIS certification database with the model number BM58, while a tipster had also revealed that the smartphone along with other products will launch in India soon. So, the 11T Pro might be the 120W fast charging model in question that is set to launch soon. Keep in mind that this is just an unconfirmed report at the moment, so take it with a pinch of salt for now.
