Indian ride-sharing company Ola announced the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters on August 15 in India. The scooters were expected to be delivered starting from October 25 in the country. However, due to an unavoidable delay, the electric scooters were planned to deliver later this year. Today, Ola’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal on Twitter confirmed the new delivery timeline and thankfully, buyers won’t have to wait for too long.

Aggarwal said that the electric scooter deliveries will begin from December 15 in the country. Furthermore, the production of the scooters has also been ramped up. That said, we can expect all the pre-booking orders to be sufficed as soon as possible.

For those who are unaware, Ola started the pre-booking for the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro on September 8th. The company claims that it has received over 1 million reservations for the electric scooters.
