Vivo and its sub-brand iQOO are reportedly gearing up to launch new smartphones in China. While Vivo is expected to soon confirm the launch date for its upcoming S12 series of selfie-focused smartphones, iQOO is expected to soon unveil Neo branded devices. The latest Weibo post by Digital Chat Station suggests that these smartphones may debut soon in the Chinese market.

According to the tipster, the Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro are powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset, and these devices will carry support for 44W fast charging. It is believed that the V2162A and V2163A Vivo phones that were recently certified by the 3C and TENAA certification sites are likely to launch as S12 and S12 Pro. To recollect, the Vivo S10 and S10 Pro predecessor models were driven by the Dimensity 1100 chipset, and they carried support for 44W fast charging.

Past reports have revealed that the S12 Pro will come with an FHD+ AMOLED display that will offer a high refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The display of the S12 Pro will have curved edges, while the S12 may offer a flat screen. The S12 Pro is expected to sport a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual camera setup for capturing selfies. The Pro model features a 108-megapixel triple camera unit. The new S-series are likely to run on the latest OriginOS Ocean UI.

The upcoming iQOO phones have been named as the Neo5 SE and Neo5s. it appears that these devices may come with Dimensity 1200 and Snapdragon 888 chipset, respectively. Both models may carry support for 66W fast charging. The new Vivo and iQOO phones are expected to come preinstalled with the latest OriginOS Ocean UI.
