After the successful launch of the Smart Projector T500 back in September, Lenovo has now released their second smart projector dubbed the Lenovo YOGA T500 Play Edition in China.

The main attraction of this new smart projector is its massive 22500mAh battery, allowing it to be portable with up to 5 hours of playtime.

The YOGA T500 Play features DLP projection technology and is equipped with a 0.23-inch DMD digital micro-mirror chip. It can achieve 1080p physical resolution and is compatible with 4K resolution.

The device also supports HDR10+, HLG dual high dynamic decoding, and Lenovo’s exclusive EEP image quality engine algorithm, which helps reduce image noise and enhance contrast. The YOGA T500 Play is capable of brightness as high as 600-700 ANSI lumens(via).

It uses a projection ratio of 1.2:1, a projection aspect ratio of 16:9, and a projection distance of 0.8-8 meters. The recommended projection size is 60-120 inches. An amazing feature of this smart projector is its built-in dedicated focus lens, which automatically focuses when the machine is turned on or moved. This is possible due to its automatic vertical and four-point horizontal correction capabilities.

The T500 Play Edition is integrated with two 10W full-range speakers with dual passive radiators, producing powerful bass with clear mids and highs.

In terms of the processor, the T500 is powered by a quad-core T972-H processor with 2GB DDR memory, 16GB eMMC flash memory. But the one feature that defines this smart projector would be the massive 22500mAh lithium battery built into it. This feature allows you the freedom of mobility and portability with up to 5 hours of playtime, meaning you can now enjoy a theater-like movie experience anywhere you like!

The Lenovo YOGA T500 Play Edition is priced at 2,999 yuan ($470), with a starting price of 2,699 yuan ($423).
