In a recent Weibo post (a Chinese microblogging website), Chen Jin, General Manager of the Chinese company, stated that the latest flagship smartphone lineup from Motorola feature high strength aluminum alloy frame. Furthermore, the back panel is built with an integrated polycarbonate material. This enables the device to be thin and light while ensuring that its structure is rigid, which would help it pass any bend tests.

Notably, the senior official even went into the specifics when talking about the Moto Edge X30 series heat dissipation capabilities. Chen Jin claims that the aluminum alloy frame allows the device to offer a thermal conductivity of 130W/mK. He further added that the smartphone also feature Corning’s Gorilla Glass on the front and back for protection, while the AG Glass process also allows it to offer a great hand feel as well.
