Motorola has just launched the Moto G51 in India. The new smartphone was first announced in China last month and has finally made its way to the Indian market.

The Moto G51 5G arrives with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can even be expanded via a microSD card slot. The device runs on Android 11 out of the box and also has an IP52 water resistant body. On the front, it sports a 6.8 inch punch hole FHD+ LCD display that features 120Hz high refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio and offers an 83.81 percent screen to body ratio. Its selfie shooter is an 8 megapixel sensor.

Meanwhile, the rear houses a triple camera setup that consists of a 50 megapixel primary camera, paired with 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. The rear even houses a fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, a large 5,000mAh battery pack powers the Moto G51 5G, which supports 10W charging. Other features include Dolby Atmos support, 5G support, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.

Pricing and Availability

The new smartphone from Motorola has launched in India for a price of 14,999 INR (roughly 200 US Dollars) for its single 4+64GB storage configuration. Notably, this price is inclusive of the 3,000 INR (roughly 40 US Dollars) discount. The device will be available in two colors, namely Bright Silver and Indigo Blue. It will be exclusively available for purchase on Flipkart starting from 16th December 2021.
