True to the hype and teasers, Taiwanese electronics maker ASUS has launched the Chromebook CX1 dual-use laptop with military-grade durability in India. The Chromebook CX1 comes with an 11.6-inch anti-glare HD display, a spill-resistant keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel and it can turn 180 degrees, thanks to its solid hinge.
The Chromebook CX1 is well-kitted as a rugged travel companion that enables you to keep working even on the go using a compact, dual-function device that can both operate as a tablet and a laptop. It has structural reinforcements that have further enhanced the chassis strength and it meets the MIL-STD 810H testing standard. It has also undergone some intense and stringent testing regimen that includes shock and drop tests, panel pressure, and a few other tests meant to ensure maximal toughness of the device in everyday use.
