Realme has confirmed that it will be holding a special event at 9 AM GMT on Dec. 20. The poster released by the brand states that it will be a Realme GT 2 series event. Earlier this month, the company confirmed that it will be launching the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered Realme GT 2 Pro in this month. Hence, it appears that the GT 2 Pro may go official on Dec. 20.
Realme GT 2 Pro specifications
The Realme GT 2 Pro rumors have revealed that it will be sporting a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to arrive with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
For selfies, the GT 2 Pro may come equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. Its back panel has a triple camera unit, which includes an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel 1/1.5-inch sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a telephoto snapper.
There is no information on the battery capacity of the Realme GT 2 Pro. As far as charging is concerned, the handset is expected to support 65W fast charging.
A recent report revealed that the Chinese manufacturer may announce two variants of the Realme GT 2 Pro. The first one will be a regular edition, while the second will be equipped with an under-display camera.
