In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Tab A8 features a 10.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The slate also comes with four speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is powered by an unnamed chipset that provides 10% higher CPU performance as well as 10% faster GPU. The chipset is unofficially revealed to be a Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset which is built on a 12 nm process packing two Cortex-A75 cores and six A55 cores. The chipset bundles a Mali G52 MP2 GPU. We can’t say for sure if fans will find it appealing switching from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chip used on the Galaxy Tab A7 to this UNISOC chip even though on paper, it brings an upgrade in the performance. The Samsung slate will likely run on Android 11 based OneUI 3.1 as it comes with split-screen multitasking and floating windows as well as support for Drag & Split which was rolled out on the 2020 Galaxy flagships with One UI 3.1.1 earlier in the year. Other features include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, 3.5mm audio jack, USB 2.0 port, and more.Samsung Galaxy Tab A8
