iQOO is all set to unleash the iQOO Neo5s on Dec. 20 in China. Yesterday, the Chinese manufacturer released a poster to reveal the rear design of the Neo5s. Today, a Chinese tipster shared an image to showcase the color variants of the smartphone.

The iQOO Neo5s poster shows that it will be available in at least three colors such as orange, black, and blue gradient. The orange model has a large-sized ‘Neo’ branding on it. The curved rear shell of the device features a protruding camera module that houses an OIS-enabled triple camera unit with LED flash.

The Weibo post released by iQOO today confirms that the iQOO Neo5s will carry support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The dedicated display chip present in the device brings support for MEMC technology. It can increase low frame games to work at 120 frames to provide users with a smoother gaming experience.

The iQOO Neo5s will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. It will be arriving with an advanced heat dissipation technology featuring rare earth elements, large-area graphite plates, and liquid-cooled soaking plates.

Past reports have claimed that the iQOO Neo5s has a 6.56-inch OLED FHD+ display, up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a Sony IMX598 48-megapixel primary camera. It may house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. The device will ship with OriginOS Ocean UI flavored Android 12.
