With a new year approaching, leaks and rumors related to the next-generation Apple iPhone series have started surfacing online. We already know a lot of things about the upcoming Apple iPhone 14 lineup.
Now, a new report from MacRumors, citing analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s research note from TF International Securities, claims that the Apple iPhone camera technology will be upgraded over the next two years.

It is further added that the upgraded camera will help Taiwan-based manufacturer Largan Precision boost its market share, revenue, and profit. The company is the world’s biggest supplier of smartphone camera lenses and accounts for around 30 percent of the market share across the globe.
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro models are expected to feature a 48-megapixel camera sensor which will have support for 8K video recording. The high-quality videos will be suitable for AR/VR device from Apple when it gets launched.
The camera on the iPhone 14 Pro models should be able to capture both 48-megapixel and 12-megapixel images through pixel binning, a technology that is already being used on other premium flagship smartphones in the market.
It is also being reported that the Apple iPhone 15 series launching in the year 2023 will come with a periscope lens. This will further boost the photography output as it will significantly increase the optical zoom capabilities.
