Next in line will be the second batch set to get OriginOS Ocean public beta builds in January 2022. The non-Pro variants of the vivo X60 series along with multiple other devices are a part of it. The second and third batch rollouts will commence from February and April 2022, respectively. All in all, all models released in the last two years can be upgraded to the new OS.

Coming to the update itself, OriginOS Ocean is undoubtedly a major upgrade over OriginOS 1.0 and comes with a number of UI changes and new features for both vivo and iQOO devices. For starters, there is a new Walkman music player that can be brought up from any screen. Multiple apps including the Dialer and Cameras have also been re-designed. But it’s the Android skin’s lock screen that stands out the most, coming with a very unique UI that offers cards for several commonly-used functions.
