Earlier today (4th January 2022), the official launch date for the highly anticipated OnePlus 10 Pro was finally revealed. But prior to its release, a company executive has officially revealed live images of the Pro model in all its glory. So let’s take a look at the upcoming flagship smartphone.

Pete Lau, the Founder of OnePlus, shared multiple images of the OnePlus 10 Pro on his official Weibo account (a Chinese microblogging website). Looking at these images, we can observe that the device will be available in at least a Green and Black variant. But while the color and design seem quite elegant, there is one aspect of the device that stands out, which is its unusually large rear camera module.

At a glance, it appears as if the module alone takes up around a quarter of the entire rear panel. This is definitely an exaggeration, but the large black module does take away from the overall elegant design. Furthermore, it is unclear how tall the camera bump will be on the rear. The Chinese smartphone maker’s official also acknowledges that the reception of the OnePlus 10 series’ design has been mixed, with some loving the radical new design while others even hating the redesign.

Looking at the OnePlus 10 Pro from the rear, it might even seem that the device’s camera is like a modular add on. However, we have to admit that the green model looks quite beautiful and premium, which is arguably even better than the black model. So let us know in the comments section down below how you feel about the OnePlus 10 Pro’s design. Also, stay tuned for more, as we will be covering any leaks and the January 11 launch event as well.
