The OnePlus 10 Pro is now just a few days away from reaching the hands of buyers with an official release date set for January 11. And ahead of its launch, we have been seeing more and more details emerge. The latest teaser from today reveals that the phone is equipped with “HyperBoost full-link game frame stabilization technology” — an AI-based algorithm that reportedly took 2 years of development.

An official poster reveals what the tech is about, showing it aids in the OnePlus 10 Pro playing an unmentioned MOBA game at an average framerate of 87.9. And on top of that, the body temperature never crossed 43.3°C. The HyperBoost function has to be turned on for this and it will not only keep the temperature under control but also greatly reduce framerate fluctuation.
A company official earlier also revealed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will also be packing some serious heat management components to keep the temps under control. The cooling plate takes up around 34119.052mm² in overall area, which is the largest ever on any OnePlus device. There’s also a VC cooling plate, copper graphite sheet, and even some heat dissipation silica gel.

Other specs were revealed recently by company CEO Pete Lau himself — the OnePlus 10 Pro’s display will be sporting a 120Hz AMOLED panel with second-generation LTPO calibration. The rear camera setup is comprised of 48-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel sensors with dual OIS support. The processing is handled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip that’s supported by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
