OnePlus has just announced that its newly launched OnePlus 10 Pro is the designated smartphone for the “Peace Elite” professional league esports competition. The device is the latest flagship grade handset from the company and sports top notch specs and features like HyperBoost technology that make it great for mobile gaming.
For those unaware, the HyperBoost technology is an AI based algorithm that is designed to make games run smoother and stabler. The Chinese brand claimed that it took 2 years to develop and enables the 10 Pro to offer higher frames by tweaking the graphics fidelity without compromising on performance. Furthermore, it even improves GPU computing efficiency by 36 percent. With its O-Sync feature, the device can even be overclocked to lower the latency between the input via the display and the action being taken within a game.
Notably, the OnePlus 10 Pro is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which is the chip that enables it to be a great gaming phone. This chipset offers a number of improvements over the last gen Snapdragon 888 SoC. However, the best bump in performance is in the GPU department, which is improved significantly in the new chipset.
Both the smartphone maker and the studio behind Peace Elite have made the announcement earlier this week on their respective Weibo accounts (a Chinese microblogging website). So now, the OnePlus 10 Pro is the official smartphone for the PEL Peace Elite Professional League in 2022. With OnePlus always being an active brand in the esports industry, the PEL 2022 partnership arrives as no surprise.
