POCO M4 Pro 4G with 2201117PG model number has been certified by Thailand’s NBTC authority. It is a 4G LTE variant of its 5G edition, which debuted in November 2021. The NBTC certification of the 4G LTE model suggests that it may debut in some markets including Thailand.

The NBTC listing of the POCO M4 Pro (2201117PG) has no information on its major specs. It only tells that its cellular connectivity is limited to LTE. Last month, Xiaomiui shared key details of a Xiaomi phone with 2201117SI model number and Meil codename.

The leak revealed that the 2201117SI model will be featuring a 90Hz display and it will be driven by a MediaTek chipset. The rear camera setup of the device has a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B40, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel OmniVision OV02A.

It is speculated that there is another variant of the device with “meil_pro” codename. This model is expected to feature a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 primary camera, a 90Hz display, and a MediaTek chip. The 2201117SI model number suggests it is designed for the Indian market. It is likely to release in the country with a Redmi branding.

As far as the POCO M4 Pro 4G is concerned, it is likely to pack the same specs that will be available on the Redmi 2201117SI handset. Hopefully, newer reports will reveal more information about the device in the coming days.

A recent report revealed that the alleged POCO X4 NFC has been certified by the FCC authority. At the same time, the global edition of the Redmi Note 11 Pro has also been approved by the FCC. Both phones are expected to arrive with identical specs such as a Snapdragon chip, 64-megapixel or 108-megapixel triple cameras, and 67W fast charging.
