OPPO is expected to soon launch its next-generation Find-series flagship smartphones in its home country China. Key details of the upcoming OPPO Find X5 series smartphones have already leaked online.
Now, a new report from Digital Chat Station claims that the official launch of the Find X5 lineup of smartphones could take place towards the end of February this year. Along with this, the company will also launch a few other products at the same event.
This is in line with the previous reports that indicated that the OPPO Find X5 series will go official in the Chinese market in February 2022. There will likely be two models — Find X5 and Find X5 Pro while global markets could get a third model in the form of Find X5 Lite.
It is said that the OPPO Find X5 will come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, making it the first device to pack this new processor. On the other hand, the Pro model will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
Both the phones will come equipped with the company’s self-developed Mariana MariSilicon X imaging NPU chip. The OPPO Find X5 Pro is expected to come with a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display that will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. Internally, the device is said to have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The screen will have a punch-hole cutout for housing the 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 camera for taking selfies and video calling. On the back, the smartphone will feature a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 13-megapixel tertiary camera sensor.
It will be running the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own ColorOS 12 on top. The device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and come with support for 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
