Back in December 2021, Motorola launched the Moto Edge X30 smartphone in China. It debuted as the world’s first phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Recent rumors revealed that the device will be rebadged as Moto Edge 30 Pro for the global market and is expected to launch in the upcoming months.

Now, MySmartPrice with the help of tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed renders of the upcoming device which showcases some variations from the Chinese model.

According to the new renders, the design of the phone including the screen, camera island, and overall stylistic profile will remain the same as the Edge X30. However, the iconic Motorola ‘M’ badge will now be present on the bottom left of the rear panel. One big change revealed by the renders is the placement of the fingerprint sensor which will apparently be present under the screen in the Moto Edge 30 Pro rather than the side-mounted sensor in the Moto Edge X30. The global version of the Moto Edge 30 Pro has the model number XT2201-4.

Other than these changes, the device is expected to host the same hardware and features as the Edge X30.
