Realme 9 series will have its vanilla version to join the Realme 9 Pro and the Realme 9 Pro+ models which are already available. The confirmation comes via a recent US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) listing relating to the device. The FCC document indicates that the Realme 9 5G is essentially the same as the Realme 8 5G, even though the new product sports a different marketing name and model number.REalme 9 FCC

The FCC documentation also includes a few live photos of the Realme 9 5G and the close semblance is clearly visible for the two smartphones. The document indicates that Realme intends to market the new device with a different name from the original, although the original test results continue to be relevant for the device.

The Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ models were released in 2021 and their packages each included a 33W charger. However, the new Realme 9 5G model will come with an 18W charger in the box. There will be several other specs differences between the higher models and the vanilla version of the Realme 9 series, and these details will come to the fore as Realme starts the marketing campaign for the device. For now, there is no word on the possible release date, global availability details, and pricing information for the Realme 9 5G.
