Samsung has officially announced the next Galaxy Unpacked event on 9th February and the invitation poster also hints that the South Korean giant is all set to launch the next-generation Galaxy S22 series flagship smartphones.

The invitation shows a pink-colored “S” letter inside the box, which pretty much confirms that the company is all set to officially announce the Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup.

The event will kick off at 10 am ET (7 am PT or 2 pm GMT) and similar to the previously held events from the company, this one too will be live-streamed. While the devices haven’t been made official yet, Samsung has already started taking reservations for those who are interested to get the device early.

However, to know more about the upcoming smartphones, including the full set of specifications, features, memory variants, pricing, and availability details, we will have to wait for the official launch next month.

Samsung is expected to unveil three phones in this new series — Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is being touted as an alternative to the Galaxy Note device from the brand and will come with support for the S Pen stylus as well as a place to hold it in the device itself.

The flagship smartphones will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or the Exynos 2200 processor, depending on the region of availability. The pricing for the devices has already leaked online and will reportedly start at $899 in the US.

The Galaxy S22 series isn’t the only product getting launched at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event as the company is also expected to announce the Galaxy Tab S8 lineup which will have three models.
