Last month, a Vivo phone with model number V2166A was approved by China’s 3C certification site. A reliable tipster had claimed that it will be debuting in the Chinese market with the Vivo Y33s 5G moniker. It will be different from the Helio G80 powered Y33s, which is a 4G LTE device. The handset has now emerged in the product library of China Telecom through which its specifications, images, and pricing have been revealed.

As per the China Telecom listing, the Vivo Y33s 5G will be available in variants like 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for 1,599 Yuan (~$251), 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for 1,599 Yuan (~$251), and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for 1,699 Yuan (~$267).

It will come in colors like Nebula Blue, Fluorite Black, and Early Snow Dawn. The listing states that it will be available for buying in China from Feb. 12.

The Vivo Y33s 5G has a 6.51-inch LCD panel with a waterdrop notch. The screen offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system on the back. It runs on Android 12 OS, which is likely to be overlaid with Vivo’s UI.

The Y33s 5G is fueled by the Dimensity 700 chipset and up to 8 GB of RAM. It comes with 128 GB of native storage and microSD card support. It includes a 5,000mAh battery, which is expected to carry support for 18W charging.  The device measures 164 x 75.84 x 8.25mm and weighs 185 grams.
