Chinese tablet manufacturer Alldocube has launched a new budget Android tablet dubbed Alldocube Smile X. The new slate features a decent hardware lineup alongside a nice design.

For the specs, the Alldocube Smile X packs a 10.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The budget tablet is powered by a Unisoc Tiger T610 processor which is an Octa-core SoC with two ARM Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. The processor also bundles a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU running at 614 MHz.

The processor is paired with 4 GB of RAM while there is 64 GB of storage onboard with the option of storage. The slate comes with two SIM card slots but you’ll have to sacrifice one of the slots if you need to add a microSD card.

For interface, the Alldocube Smile X runs on the Android 11 operating system and we doubt if that will ever get updated to Android 12. The tablet packs one camera a piece at the front and rear. The front camera is a 2MP sensor while the back camera is a 5MP sensor. The slate also comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS support.

The Alldocube Smile X is presently on sale on Banggood and is priced at $149.99.
