Tecno Spark 8C is the latest Spark 8-series smartphone to go official. In September 2021, the company unveiled Spark 8, which was followed by Spark 8P in October. The Spark 8 Pro debuted in November and Spark 8T was made official in December. Now comes the all-new Spark 8C packed with mid-range specs such as a 90Hz display, a Unisoc chipset, a big battery, and 13-megapixel dual cameras.

The Spark 8C has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device runs on Android 11 OS and HiOS 7.6 skin.  It is equipped with an LED flash assisted 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The rear camera unit of the Spark 8C has a 13-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. It is assisted an AI lens and an LED flash unit. The camera module also houses a fingerprint scanner. The Spark 8C supports photography features such as the bokeh effect, AI scene recognition, panorama, HDR mode, AR stickers, and 1080p time-lapse photography.

The official listing of the Spark 8C has no information on its processor. Speculations are rife that it is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset. The device comes with 2 GB / 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of built-in storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery, which seems to support 10W charging.

The Spark 8C comes with other features such as DTS surround sound, extended RAM, microSD card slot, and NFC. The handset sports an impressive rear design, and it comes in multiple colors such as Turquoise Cyan, Magnet Black, Iris Purple and Diamond Grey.
