The Zero-One electric scooter is the latest offering by German company Naon and seems to be a clear departure from the crowd with its fresh and tech-driven design to go with some decent riding features. The Naon Zero-One has just been unveiled to the European market and its unique design has put it in a commanding position among its more established competitors.Naon Zero-One electric scooter

The Naon Zero-One electric scooter comes with long, flat running boards, an exposed rear swingarm, and an angular seat. Some of the features that are indeed unheard of among the ubiquitous Vespa-like e-scooters have swarmed the market. There are a few different configurations of the Zero-One with the highest model offering top speeds up to 100km/h and a range of 140km. Naon Zero-One has a 7kW rear hub electric motor that can deliver up to 10kW peak power. It comes with a single 2.4kWh battery, although this can be further scaled up with an additional battery. The batteries are stored just under the rider’s feet and they are removable, hence the under-seat is available as a storage space.

The Naon Zero-One e-scooter is fast enough to ride on some highways but its short range might limit that possibility, but it will be well suited for intra-city commutes. The various versions of the Zero-One could serve the needs of different demographics in the market. These models include the L1e and the L3e models. The L1e has a top speed of 45km/h and could be a great buy for city dwellers desirous of having an e-bike to navigate dense commutes daily.Naon Zero-One electric scooter

As per pricing, the Naon Zero-One L1e model is priced at €4,920 ($5,640), while the more powerful L1e model costs €6,420 ($7,360) with no battery included. The batteries can be purchased for €1,000 ($1,145) or rented at a monthly fee of €25 ($29).
