Nubia has set a date for the launch of the RedMagic 7 series launch. The game-centric series will debut on February 17 in China. Ahead of its arrival, Nubia has teased the fast charging capabilities of the RedMagic 7.

Nubia on Weibo revealed that the upcoming RedMagic 7 will debut with support for 135W fast charging technology. Furthermore, it will have 165W GaN. In totality, the device is advertised to get fully charged from 0% to 100% in just 15 minutes.

This is contrary to the past reports that revealed a full-fledged 165W fast charging support on the device. It seems like, Nubia is simply employing the 165W Gallium Nitrite head to make the PD more efficient. But actually, it will have a 135W fast charging solution.

Nonetheless, having a 135W quick charging on a RedMagic phone is the first for the company. To recall, the predecessor RedMagic 6 Pro was limited to 120W fast charging technology.

Apart from this, the RedMagic 7 was spotted on multiple certifications previously. We learned that the device will feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED display. It will come with a 165Hz refresh rate and a faster touch sampling rate. As for the cameras, it will get a single selfie snapper and a 64MP triple rear camera system.

Inside, the gaming phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It will house a 4,500mAh battery and come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM,  512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It will run on Android 12 OS out of the box and have the Redmagic UI.
