Luxury smartwatch maker Tag Heuer has released two new smartwatch models which it hopes will catch the attention of the luxury end of the market. The Tag Heuer Connected Calibre E4 comes in two variants namely a 42mm and 45mm model, respectively. Tag Heuer had pioneered the luxury smartwatch brand with the original Carrera Connected, as well as several other smartwatches, but the latest couple does not bear much common semblance with their predecessors. The 45mm model comes with different options in terms of its covering, and strap to cater to the design choices of a varied segment of the smartwatch market. The 45mm Connected Calibre E4 OLED’s screen is 1.39 inches and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ processor. The 45mm Connected Calibre E4 smartwatch comes with a heart rate sensor, NFC for mobile payments, an altimeter, compass, and GPS. Its 430mAh battery can sustain the device offers a full day of activity, including up to five hours of tracking. The processor, software, and other hardware features are the same for the 42mm model, but the battery is smaller with a 330mAh capacity.
