Recently, Xiaomi started rolling out the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update for the Mi 11 and the Mi 11 Lite 5G in international markets. Now, the same software is now live for Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE as well. However, unlike the former phones, the update for the latter handset is only available for Mi Pilot testers as of now.

According to Xiaomiui, Xiaomi has begun to seed MIUI 13 update for the EEA variant of the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. The latest software build for the smartphone is based on Android 12. Above all, it is limited to Mi Pilot Testers.

In simpler words, the new system update for the device is only available for a select few users who are part of the public beta testing program, which Xiaomi officially calls Mi Pilot Testing.

The same build will be soon rolled out to random regular users in the coming days as part of the ‘Stable Beta’ (batched) release. If these users don’t find any major issues, the build will see a wider rollout as part of the ‘Stable’ release.

In a nutshell, we can expect every user of Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE to be on the latest version of MIUI and Android within a month if everything goes fine. The update should be also live for other regional variants of the phone apart from EEA.
