OPPO Find X5 series will be announced in China through a mega launch event at 7 PM (local time) on Feb. 24. The company will be launching products like Find X5, Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition, Find X5 Pro, Enco X2 TWS earbuds, and OPPO Pad tablet. The Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition will be debuting as the world’s first smartphone powered by the Dimensity 9000 flagship chipset. Leaks that are now doing rounds on Weibo revealed that the Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition has a 6.7-inch AMOLED E4 display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is equipped with LTPO 1.0 technology, instead of LTPO 2.0 available on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered Find X5 Pro.
The Dimensity 9000 powered Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition will come with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In comparison, the Snapdragon variant will come in multiple options such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage.
For selfies, it will feature a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front camera. The rear camera setup will be equipped with a pair of 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main cameras with dual OIS and a Samsung S5K3M5 telephoto camera.
The Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast wired charging. The device is also expected to carry support for 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. It will come preinstalled with Android 12 OS overlaid with ColorOS 12.1. The device will come with other features such as IP68 rated chassis, X-axis linear motor, under-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, and dual stereo speakers. The Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition measures 163.7 x 73.9 x 8.5mm and weighs 216 grams. It will come in black and white colors.
