The tablet which was recently announced in the US is touted as the company’s biggest, boldest, and most versatile tablet yet. The expansive 14.6-inch screen of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is a super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It has very slim bezels at 6.3mm and offers a truly immersive experience for users. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is also quite rugged and durable with its Armor Aluminum frame which is sufficiently scratch-resistant and less prone to bending than the Galaxy Tab S7. The powerful dual 12MP front cameras are capable of advanced auto-framing and 4K video recording. This enables the user to capture high-quality videos during video calls or recordings using the camera.
The Galaxy Tab S8 series offer extended gaming capability with its pretty fast 4nm chip. Added to that is the integrated S Pen functionality also present with the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and S8+. The innovative S Pen in the models uses a prediction algorithm for ultra-low latency in writing. The series also supports Wi-Fi 6E which is premiered in the Galaxy lineup with the Tab S8 series. The battery of the tablet is also impressive, offering up to 24 hours of activity, together with 45W super-fast charging available.
There are a few color configurations available for the three models in the Galaxy Tab S8 lineup in India. As per pricing, the 12GB/256GB Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is priced at Rs. 108,999 (~$1,460) for the model with Wi-Fi and Rs. 122,999 (~$1,647) for the 5G variant. The Galaxy Tab S8 goes for Rs. 58,999 (~$790)/ Rs. 70,999 (~$950) while the Tab S8+ is priced at Rs. 74,999 (~$1,004)/ Rs. 87,999 ($1,178) for the Wi-Fi and 5G variant respectively. The preorder of the models will be between February 22 and March 10, 2022, via Samsung’s website and other authorized dealers. There is a raft of incentives available for early buyers of the tablets.
