Xiaomi is expected to announce the Xiaomi 12 series of flagship phones in global markets including India soon. A fresh report by MySmartPrice, which cites tipster Mukul Sharma as the source has shared some information on Xiaomi 12 Pro’s pricing and launch timeframe for India.
According to the report, the Xiaomi 12 Pro will be launching in Q1 of FY 2022. This indicates that the device will break cover by early April in the country. While the country is expected to receive Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X models, the report has no information on their launch timeline.
Sharma claimed that the Xiaomi 12 Pro will be aggressively priced in India. To recall, it was introduced with a price tag of 4,699 Yuan (~$740; Rs 55,550). Probably, it will be priced under Rs 55,000 in the country. The device will be rivalling with the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 6.73-inch AMOLED LTPO display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 50-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultrawide) + 5-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered device has 8 GB / 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The 5,000mAh battery of the handset supports 120W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. For audiophiles, it features JBL dual stereo speakers.
