A new OPPO A series phone has made an appearance on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Carrying model number PFTM20, the phone’s rear design looks pretty similar to the freshly launched vivo Y33s 5G.
The information comes from trusty tipster WHYLAB who on Weibo also shared multiple specifications of the device along with some images.
The OPPO PFTM20 is equipped with a 2.4GHz octa-core processor, which judging by the clock speed, looks like an entry-level to mid-range chip. The display is sized 6.56-inches with a 720p (1612×720) resolution and is an LCD. For photography, it sports a 13MP+2MP dual-camera setup at the rear, paired with an 8MP shooter for selfies.
The battery is sized 4890mAh with support for 10W charging. The device is 7.99mm thick and weighs 186g. Its storage can be expanded by up to 1TB, thanks to SD card support and it also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Shared images show the PFTM20 in blue with a boxy design. You get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the right and volume buttons + SD slot on the left.
There’s no indication of the release date yet but it shouldn’t take much longer now considering the device has now bagged certification.
