Realme V25 5G has debuted in China. The latest V-series phone from the brand replaces the last year’s Realme V15 5G. Some of the major highlights of the Realme V25 includes a 120Hz refresh rate display, Snapdragon 695, and a color-changing rear shell.
Realme V25 5G specifications and features
The Realme V25 has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with a punch-hole placed at the upper-left corner. It delivers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs on Android 12 OS, which is customized with the latest Realme UI 3.0.

The V25 is the first Snapdragon 695 powered Realme phone to debut in China. The handset comes with 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The V25 allows users to extend the RAM up to 19 GB through the Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) feature. The device houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It measures 8.5mm in thickness and weighs 195 grams.
The Realme V25 has a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. The rear camera island has a 64-megapixel primary camera accompanied by a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel B&W lens. The handset offers other features such as dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Realme V25 is a tweaked version of the Realme 9 Pro 5G that debuted in India and European markets recently. Instead of the 2-megapixel depth sensor, the Realme 9 Pro 5G has an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. The rest of the specs are identical on both devices. Like the Realm 9 Pro, the V25 also features a photochromic layer on the rear because of which it automatically changes color from light blue to red under sunlight.
Realme V25 pricing and availability
The Realme V25, which comes in a sole 12GB+256GB version, is priced at 1,999 Yuan (~$316). The handset comes in three colors such as Morning Star (green), Purple MSI, and Sky Black.
