Earlier today, chipset and display details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M23 5G smartphone emerged through the Google Play console listing. And now, fresh renders of the device have surfaced online along with some more specification details.

According to a MySmartPrice report, these renders have been obtained via industry sources which have also informed on the specifications of the upcoming handset. The new renders show that the design of the Galaxy M23 5G has been altered quite a bit compared to its predecessor. The camera island is especially different this time around with a vertical pill shape compared to the more square-shaped camera module on the Galaxy M22. The renders also reveal that the device will come with a triple camera setup in contrast to its predecessor’s quad-cam setup.

Samsung Galaxy M23 5G Specs

Coming to its specifications, the Galaxy M23 5G is a mid-range smartphone that will come with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ resolution TFT panel supporting 16 million colors and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will have a waterdrop notch cutout for the front camera.

For photography, the device will get a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP f/1.8 main camera sensor, coupled with an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera and a 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor. The main camera sensor will come with support for optical image stabilization (OIS). The rear camera supports 720p video recording at 120fps and 4K video recording at 30fps.

Under the hood will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with at least 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 5G smartphone will also offer storage expansion up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. It will weigh about 198 grams and measure 165.5 x 77.0 x 8.4mm. in terms of software, the Galaxy M23 5G will boot Android 12 based One UI 4.1 out of the box.

Other details include Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, WiFi, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, single speaker, etc. The report also states that the Galaxy M23 5G 4GB + 128GB storage option will be priced between €250 – €300.
