The turnaround started with the iPhone X which marked a massive change in the design style of the iPhone. Since then, it has been a rapid resurgence for the US company, even in China. The latest market research report by CINNO Research shows that the iPhone 13 is the best-selling individual smartphone in China in the month of January 2022. The company reportedly recorded a total sales of 2.3 million units during the period under review. According to records, this is the fourth consecutive month Apple’s latest iPhone 13 series is topping the individual sales chart in China. The feat started in October 2021, a month after the smartphone was first released.

Apple isn’t the top-selling brand in China in January 2022, though. That crown is coveted by OPPO which sold an estimated 5.4 million smartphones excluding models sold via the Realme brand. Vivo came in second with an estimated 5.2 million units in sales. Honor also came in third with roughly 5.2 million units in sales in January.Apple occupied the fourth spot with 5.1 million units sold during the period. Xiaomi completed the top 5 spots with an estimated 4.4 million units sold in January.
