OPPO last month launched the fourth iteration of its flagship phone series in the form of the Find X5 Pro, which is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. This was followed by the announcement of another variant, this time with the arguably more powerful Dimensity 9000. While it has already been proven that the Dimensity 9000 outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 benchmark-wise, we now have AnTuTu scores of both variants of the Find X5 Pro for the first time.

The test was performed by IT Home with both phones being put on the high-performance mode. The Dimensity OPPO Find X5 Pro has managed to score just beyond the 1 million mark, which is something no other chip in the Android world has managed to achieve to date. The Snapdragon OPPO Find X5 Pro, on the other hand, follows closely with 990,473 points.

However, Qualcomm has continued its domination over the GPU space, at least in terms of AnTuTu, with its Adreno 730 scoring considerably higher than the Mali-G710 MC10 on the Dimensity 9000.

It is worth mentioning here that the aforementioned results aren’t the product of a single round of testing as IT Home says that they ran the benchmark multiple times.

The OPPO Find X5 Pro is actually the first smartphone to come with the Dimensity 9000. The processor uses TSMC’s 4nm process and packs a Cortex-X2 super core, 3 Cortex-A710 large cores, and 4 Cortex-A510 small cores, supported by ARM Mali-G710 GPU for graphics.

Now that MediaTek has proved its progress with performance with its very first true flagship chip for smartphones, it remains to be seen if it will hold up just as well in battery efficiency tests. We should be seeing those in the coming days too, so stay tuned.
