Xiaomi has confirmed to launch the Redmi 10 in India on March 17 (Thursday), which is exactly a week from today. Though the firm has not revealed yet, the live stream for the phone on the official Redmi India YouTube channel will likely kickstart at 12 PM.

Apart from disclosing the launch date, Xiaomi has also shed some details on the features. First and foremost, the device will be powered by a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset paired with faster storage (could be UFS).

It will flaunt a large display with a dewdrop notch and a thick chin. There will be a huge battery inside with support for fast charging.

The handset will look identical to the unreleased Redmi 10C featuring a matrix camera array and a fingerprint sensor together on a large module on the smartphone’s rear panel. However, unlike the Redmi 10C, the Redmi 10 for India will have a 50MP dual-camera system of 13MP triple camera setup.

The aforementioned specs do not match with the report from earlier today. Also, as we are still days from the official announcement, we expect to learn more about the Redmi 10 for India in the coming days.
