Redmi on Thursday officially announced that its flagship K50 series will be launched on March 17. The series comprises four models, namely Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, Redmi K50 Pro+, and Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. From these, the Redmi K50 Pro+ is making headlines today for its exceptionally high AnTuTu score.

Notable industry insider Digital Chat Station just revealed the AnTuTu benchmark score of the Redmi K50 Pro+ with a Weibo post, and it crosses the 1 million mark. The device, which is powered by the Dimensity 9000 chip, has achieved a score of 1,041,818, out of which the CPU scores 265,743 and GPU scores 394,078.

First announced in late 2021, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 adopts TSMC’s 4nm process, sports the all-new ARMv9 architecture, and has 1x 3.05GHz Cortex-X2 super core, 3x 2.85GHz Cortex-A710 large cores, and 4x Arm Cortex-A510 small cores.

Netizens also spotted that the screenshot’s resolution was 1440p, meaning the Redmi K50 Pro+ will most likely sport a 2K display with a resolution of 2560*1440.

The Redmi K50 series is all set to be the most extensive and diverse lineups ever, with processors from both Qualcomm and MediaTek. In addition to the Redmi K50 Pro+ with its Dimensity 9000, there’s also the Redmi K50 Gaming with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Redmi K50 Pro with the Dimensity 8100, and the Redmi K50 with the Snapdragon 870.
