Lenovo is gearing up to launch a new generation of thin and light laptops from both Xiaoxin and YOGA brands. Two models have currently been revealed officially — YOGA Air and YOGA Pro.

IT Home reports that the laptops from YOGA will be more premium compared to the ones sold under the Xiaoxin brand. Both Lenovo Xiaoxin and YOGA thin and light notebooks in 2022 will be divided into two series, Air and Pro. While Air models will be made as much thin and light as they can be, the Pro models will be focused more on performance, just like the MacBooks from Apple.

In the comment section of the same announcement post, Lenovo also revealed that the new YOGA laptop will have a “large size” and that further details about the launch will be given out sometime this month.

In terms of specs, Lenovo’s new generation of thin and light notebooks are expected to be equipped with 12th Gen Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 6000 processors. These chips will be assisted by graphics cards like MX550, MX570, or RTX 2050, while the higher-end models may even be equipped with the RTX 3050 from NVIDIA.

The new Lenovo YOGA laptops are expected to be released at the end of April and will be up for sale in China likely in early May.

Lenovo had late last year announced several other YOGA series products, including the Lenovo YOGA Duet 2021 which is a 2-in-1 notebook with changing form factor.
